USA 14 August: New Haven, CT - Greenwich, CT

The girls team was hosted by Archee on her farm.

The boys set off from New Haven at a cracking pace.

Arpan, fresh off the 3100-mile race, sets the pace with the torch. Arpan just turned 60 years old... Unbelievable!

The team was hosted for lunch by the Westport Rotary Club, sharing the spirit of service and inspiration.

A Rotarian from Sioux City, Iowa was presented with a Rotary flag by Salil Wilson from Golby Uhler on behalf of the South Sioux City Rotary Club.

Cheeky driver!

Norwalk Police offered a police escort through town. Fortunately for everyone, runners ran and the police rode the motorcycles.

Norwalk's finest.

Norwalk Fire Chief Dennis McCarthy and Police Chief Thomas Kulhawik suited up in running gear to run with the torch!

Its good to be the chief!

The run arrived at The Marvin Under One Roof (Senior Congregate Housing and Preschool) and was received by Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia and Ms. Mary Wendt, the Executive Director of the facility.

Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia beams with a proclamation for the World Harmony Run.

The chiefs and mayor were joined by U.S. Congressman Jim Himes (holding torch) and Connecticut State Senator Bob Duff, who both shared extremely kind and deeply appreciated words in support of the World Harmony Run.

Let's hear it for our Connecticut coordinators!

Last but not least, the team visited the Stamford Boys and Girls Club.

Acting out the song: "...of tomorrow's sun!"

Jose shows off his Guatemalan speed.

Three sets of twins hold the torch!

Eric is thanked by Salil Wilson for hosting the team with his wife Nidrahara.

Nidrahara the great1

What better way to celebrate the eve of the end of the run than with a congratulatory chocolate mousse cake!
