Our day began with warm farewells to our benefactors and the kind hotel staff of the Best Western Hotel in Owen Sound. Another sunny day was ahead of us with lots of wonderful running!

La journée a débuté avec des "aurevoirs" à nos bienfaiteurs dirigeants et au personnels de l'Hôtel "Best Western Hotel" d'Owen Sound. Une autre journée ensoleillée nous offrait d'incroyables moments de course!

Part of our run to Thornbury was along the beautiful Georgian Trail near the blue water of Georgian Bay.

Une bonne partie de notre parcours en direction de Thornbury s'effectuait le long des sentiers magnifiques près de l'eau très bleue de la Baie Georgienne.

Our first stop was at the Beaver Valley Community School in Thornbury. There the entire school of 400 children was outside to welcome us with such enthusiasm!

Notre premier arrêt était à l'École " Beaver Valley Community School" de Thornbury. Tous les 400 étudiants de l'école nous attendaient à l'extérieur avec un accueil très enthousiaste!

We raced around the track with the torch, and then introduced them to our friendship game. The students were a colorful sight dressed in red, and decorated with hearts as they were off to ‘jump rope for heart’ right after the event.

Nous avons couru dans la cour avec eux, en relayant le flambeau, puis les avons initiés à nos jeux d'amitié. Les étudiants portaient un vêtement d'un rouge vif et brillant qui s'harmonisait avec l'épinglette en coeur décoratif, très symbolique et approprié lors du "saut à la corde pour le coeur" qui a eu lieu juste après notre événement.

Then it was off to Collingwood for our next event. This is the first ever visit the World Harmony Run had made to this pretty city.

Puis nous avons continuer notre course jusqu'à Collingwood pour le prochain événement. C'était la toute première visite de la Course de l'Harmonie Mondiale dans cette si jolie petite ville.

Here we visited the Cameron Public School where we were warmly welcomed. Here, it was the students themselves who beautifully introduced the team, and helped us by running the audio system.

Ici, nous avons visité l'École Publique Cameron qui nous a reçus chaleureusement. Ici, les étudiants eux-mêmes, nous ont merveilleusement introduits, et ont régi le système de son.

Each class had also prepared a short presentation on what world harmony meant to them read by class representatives. The messages were extremely touching. Afterwards the whole school (450 students) ran around the track, and on the way to their classes each student touched the torch and made their own personal wish for world harmony.

Chaque classe avait aussi préparé une brève présentation sur la signification de l'Harmonie. Un représentant de chaque classe lisait ces messages très émouvants. À la suite, tous les 450 élèves ont couru autour de la piste dans la cour d'école. Chaque élève a touché le flambeau et offert ses souhaits personnels pour un monde d'Harmonie.
