Scotland 27 April: Stirling - Glasgow

We set out from the lovely home of Maggie and Mike Moss on Sunday morning and started once more on our way to Glasgow.

We ran under the brooding prescence of the Wallace monument, across the famous Stirling Bridge, which was the scene of one of Wallace's biggest victories.

We ran through the lovely and ancient city of Stirling on our way to Bannockburn. The sun shone brightly and the day was bonny.

On our way we were stopped by many interested passers-by who wanted to know something about the torch and the World Harmony Run.

Leaving Stirling we entered into the natural world of the southern highlands.

Suddenly, there was rolling hills, sheep, cows, lochs and ribbons of sunny roads in front of us.

One of our core team members, Marc, from Germany was celebrating his birthday today, and had some marvellous running to do down the wonderfully named 'tak ma doon road'.

Traveling through Kirkintilloch we took advantage of the 'Forth and Clyde' canal to have some flat running.

We passed into the north of Glasgow, at Springburn, the home of shipbuilding and railways.

We ran across the city to Charing Cross and arrived close to our first destination for tomorrow, Willowbank Primary school.

Another wonderful day of the World Harmony Run with a firm focus on the running. Happy Birthday to Marc!
