Iceland 7 June: Laugarbakki - Borgarnes

We started today by meeting a group of very inspired kids from the town.  Shortly after that, our female team members passed the torch to all the runners of the Women's Run, a very popular event that takes place throughout the country, with thousands of women participating.

A few more runners from the city joined us for the day and with their power, we easily covered today's distance. We relaxed at the end of the day, transported by nature's beauty and splendour and, finally, gathered for a little party and enjoyed an enormous variety of excellent food.

Hvammstangi town.

Presenting the Harmony Run to the kids in town.

"You really want us to run with you?"

It's so easy!

They've got it!

Running to the next event.

Everybody is getting ready for the Women's Run.

This year's dress-code applies to everyone... no matter what species or age.

A sincere wish for harmony.

Ready to go?

On the road again.

Father and son.

See the volcano in the background?

Running through the lava formations in Bifrost.

After the run, we spent hours at this beautiful place.

Spring from lava formations. The water tastes great!

Rock shapes are really special here.

Lava-rocks and a cute natural garden.
