Today our team split up for a few hours, as the Run in Latvia was starting at the same time.

We started our day in Siauliai. All our local coordinators decided to run together today! A very historical photo!

The deputy mayor of Siauliai met us on the road, so a quick ceremony was arranged!

Our Lithuanian running team...

We reached Kryziu Kalnas - the "Hill of Crosses", which the last Pope visited in 1993. It is a very moving place. A Franciscan monk welcomed us and showed us around.

After the Hill of Crosses, we had local runners all the way to Joniskis. The long distance was easily covered by all of us and together we reached the city.

A few raindrops didn't dampen our spirits...

Our Lithuanian Coordinator, Romas said goodbye to us and gave us many presents. Thank you Romas, for all your hard work.

Thanks also, to our other Lithuanian friends who left us speechless with their hospitality. Probably everybody added a few kilograms from all the good food!

An unusual place to keep the torch...

After the meeting, we ran to the border and crossed to Latvia to join the Run which started there today!
