Heartfelt reception at Tal'ne regional border. Passing the torch. More things connect us than divide us.

Щира зустріч на межі Тальнянського району. Передача факелу. Більше об'єднує нас, ніж розділяє.

Our runner-friend Vadym Mytsyk, who joined us for a quite few kilometres in his official outfit. All you can achieve by 50 years of regular running. Childlike energy and outstanding fitness.

Later, in running clothes, leading the group into the city of Tal'ne.

Пізніше в біговій одежі, ведучи групу до міста Тальне.

In the city we were welcomed with a beautiful ceremony. Each of us got flowers from the kids. We had a great time.

В місті ми отримали прекрасну церемонію. Кожен з нас отримав квіти від діточок. Ми провели чудовий час.

Then the kids recited poems for us. They had learned them all by heart - well, their teacher stayed close with the book open - just in case...

Потім діти прочитали вірші. Вони вивчили їх напам'ять - правда їх вчителька стояла поруч з відкритою книгою. Про всяк випадок...

When I grow up I wish to be a World Harmony Runner too. That is something really cool...

A sea of sunflowers, eagerly turning towards the sun - not like our runners, armed with hats and full bottles of sunscreen.

Море сонячників. Жадібно повертаючих до сонця. Не як наші бігуни, озброєні шапками і повними бутилочками сонцезахистного крему.

As we stop to fill the torch, we keep our eyes open for nature's beauty. It is always there, we have only to see it.

Як тільки ми зупиняємося, щоб заповнити факел, ми тримаємо наші очи широко розкритими до природної краси. Вона завжди тут, ми тільки повинні побачити її.

We can find the beauty even in small things. A bug can be so charming, as he goes on his regular vertical walk.

Ми можемо знайти красу, навіть в маленьких речах. Жучок може бути настільки чарівним, коли він виконує свою регулярну вертикальну прогулянку.

After watching us for a few hours from the ambulance escort car, the driver couldn't hold back any more. A champion runner in high school, 'just' ten years ago; hand in pocket, he really gave us hard times as he paced along with the torch. His official outfit and his shoes were not really designed for this: 4.30 kilometres, in 30 degrees.

Після догляду за нами протягом кількох годин зз супроводжуючої машини швидкої допомоги, водій не міг стриматися більше. Чемпіон з бігу в школі, "просто" десять років тому, з рукою в кишені, він дійсно завдав нам важких часів, коли він пробігав вздовж з факелом. Його офіційне вбрання і його черевики дійсно були не для цього: 4:30 кілометрів при 30 градусах.

Everyday life in the local villages. Isn't life fun? Rosy provides a lot of milk - you just have to look after her.

Буденне життя в місцевому селищі. Чи життя жарт? Рожева дає більше молока, ти просто маєшь дивитися за нею.

Happy reception at our final ceremony for the day. The Uman' officials organized a visit for us in their famous national park, plus we were hosted in a really nice house that exclusively ours for the night. The only pity was we left the key inside, so we had to climb up to the second floor and enter through a window to open the house again.

Щаслива зустріч на нашій останній церемонії цього дня. Уманьська влада організували для нас відвідування місцевого знаменитого національного парку, на додаток нас розмістили в дійсно чудовому будинку, який був тільки наш на цю ніч. Тільки один сумний факт, ми залишили ключі всередині й тому нам прийшлось залазити на другий поверх через вікно, щоб знову відкрити будинок.
