USA 15 May: Tongnoxie, KS - Iola, KS

The torch took us through the farms and fields of Kansas to Anderson County Jr. and Sr. High School. Although the Seniors had finished school the day before, everyone from 7th to 11th grade came down to the gym to welcome us. Reagan Rockers, Secretary of the Student Body, ran into the gym with us holding the torch.

Principal Kellstadt held the torch while everyone on the Student Council posed for the picture. Front row left to right: Reagan Sec., Kenny Kellstadt, Principal, Jordan Rickabaugh, President, Dustin Bonzo, Treasurer. Back row left to right: Matt Crome, Science Club, and Amanda Bures, Vice President.

Despite a little teacher apprehension...

the torch was passed ...

all around the bleachers.

If Principal Kellstadt ever runs for office, we have his campaign photo waiting for him.

Vladamir was feeling like he could "run like the wind."

Both the cars that pass us by, and the animals that we pass by, like to watch us run.

Tonight was our second night camping, and the Kansas sun sang us a sweet lullaby as we all turned in for an early night.
