USA 5 July: Roberts, MT - Hardin, MT

Thanks so much to the Red Lodge KOA for a wonderful night's accommodation.

Harita's miles with smiles.

Our meeting with Joanne and Marcia from the Laurel Visitors Centre.

Moni thanks Joanne for their welcome.

Joanne took great pleasure in showing us her automatic piano dating back to 1928.

Marcia very kindly gave us a brief introduction to Laurel and Chief Joseph.

We met some runners who greeted us yesterday as we arrived in Laurel, MT.

Prapti running some Canadian Kilometres.

Rupasi was last seen with this Bison before we lost her - temporarily.

Lady Liberty makes another appearance in our lives.

Prapti makes friends with the local wildlife.

Hey give me my hat back.

Ratuja was trying (unsuccessfully) to encourage this bull to run along a little.

Katya didn't have any better luck.

These were some of the larger residents of Montana.

Our accommodations for the night.

Moni checks out the cooking facilities at the Little Big Horn County museum.

Old time gas station - when it was 3 cents per gallon.

Carmen Irish of the Billings Gazette gets the low down from Uhaina and Harita.

Reid Perry from the Big Horn County News came out to meet us on Old Route 87 as we headed into Hardin.

Uhaina's Mexican Tostada meal was really something.

As you can see there was a deep sense of satisfaction - the only problem was she didn't make enough.

This young fellow wanted to sniff the torch.

This is the result.

And now the clean up.

– Salil
