USA 2 July: Townsend, MT - Big Sky, MT

Chiara and Chris were so inspired yesterday that they came and joined the team running out of Townsend for 4 miles! Maybe they will join the team next time we come through!!

Natabara striding out...

We ran into a team of cyclists riding all the way from Austin Texas to Alaska...wow!

We ran into Three Forks and were received with a warm welcome at the local visitors centre!

Bonnie from the Chamber of Commerce came to meet us and gave us some refreshments, thanks alot!! A reporter from the local Herald also came out to see us.

Next stop was Middle Creek Montessori School in Bozeman.

The school grounds are set in a beautiful natural location.

The children performed a powerful rendition of "We will rock you" for us!

Thank you so much Nancy McNabb, the school principal, and Matt Tadvick, more commonly known as "Mr Matt", who facilitated our visit.

All the kids wanted to join our team!!

To join the team you have to run with the torch...

Christina from the local television station kindly came out and filmed us as we ran to the Bozeman YMCA holiday program...

Guess what country he comes from??

"My family is this big..."

Now thats real friendship!!

Some of the kids were overcome by the peace they felt in their hearts.

Sukhajata led a fast paced sprint around the field...

The kids have recently been studying the Guiness Book of records, and Natabara enthusiastically let them know that a member of the World Harmony Run team, Ashrita Furman, holds the record for the most records!!

There is a special section about him in the book..

And it was back to the road to cover the remaining miles to Big Sky..

Katya has been running with the team for 2 1/2 months now!!

Another few miles completed...

Atulya is thinking of jumping on a passing train...

If you look hard you can see a rainbow in this picture, the end of another beautiful day...

We had the most fantastic nights stay at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel in Helena.  Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, modern services, great jacuzzi and the friendliest staff anywhere!  Many thanks to Red Lion Colonial Hotel for their generous support.
