Bulgaria 31 July: Dospat - Border with Greece

Our last day in Bulgaria. On the way to the border we had a meeting in Goce Delchev, where the soccer team and the mayor were waiting for us in the main square.

Attention soccer team ! They are coming...

Bread girls having fun.

They are here...

Applause...

Spas carried the torch so he can be the first one to break the bread...

Pass the torch and make a wish...

The mayor and our organizers, Ivan and Georgy. Special THANK YOU to these two most kind-hearted gentlemen for their support!!

Baridhi giving an interview to local press...

... while Sarah is telling the kids more about the Run...

Look here :)

... and off we went. Towards the border. 15 km to go...

Thank you Bulgaria for the great, great time we had. Our gratitude to the Bulgarian team, which made our time there unforgettable. You are true World Harmony Runners and friends we are fortunate to have. We'll miss you all!! GOOD BYE...
