Germany 25 May: Ratzeburg - Kyritz

Leaving Ratzenburg, we headed further east under a blue sky.

We enjoyed a peaceful Sunday, as the road took us deeper and deeper into the remote countryside of east Germany, most beautiful and untouched nature all the way!

In Schwerin the World Harmony Run was invited to participate in a city festival. We were welcomed on stage in the main square and handed the torch to the head of the Tourism Organisation Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Mr. Christiansen and Mr. Pöhls, head of the local organisation "Petermännchen"

Both of them took a few steps for harmony!

Schwerin is famous for its castle, an outstanding architectural landmark...

The life of a photographer...

In Parchim, some skateboarders joined the Run and showed us a few tricks on their boards...

Now it was time to run: always straight ahead, all the way to Kyritz!

Finally we arived in Kyritz, and finished for the day at the main square.

Special thanks to the Hotel Waldschlösschen for providing a great dinner and for hosting some of our runners, and to Bluhm's Hotel and to the Parkhotel St. Georg.
