A beautiful morning in Capracotta, 1,421m above seal level...

Una meravigliosa mattina in Capracotta, a 1421 m di altezza...

As we left our accommodation, we arranged a spontaneous meeting in front of the hotel...

Quando stavamo per lasciare il nostro alloggio, abbiamo organizzato un incontro spontaneo davanti all'hotel...

...and a morning run, too...

...e una corsa mattutina anche...

...a short stop in Pietrabbondante at the historic Samnite temple area, which also included a theatre...

...una breve fermata a Pietrabbondante, dove ci sono le rovine di un tempio ed un teatro Sannita...

The Samnites lived in the area of Molise and Campania before the Romans took over...

I Sanniti vissero nell'area che comprendeva l'attuale Molise e parte della Campania prima di venire sottomessi dai Romani...

The Theatre, built about 2,400 years ago...

Il teatro, costruito circa 2400 anni fa...

The Romans might have built great things, but the Samnites designed more comfortable seats...

Gli Antichi Romani avranno anche costruito grandiosi edifici, ma i Sanniti facevano sedili molto più confortevoli...

Capracotta's was a local event, so we had to resume our run where we stopped running yesterday. So, back to Isernia!

Capracotta é stato un evento locale, così siamo dovuti tornare fino al punto dove avevamo smesso di correre il giorno prima. Quindi rieccoci ad Isernia!

Runners of the local "Nuova Atletica Isernia" running team welcomed us and joined us on our way into the city.

I corridori del club podistico locale "Nuova Atletica Isernia" ci hanno dato il benvenuto e si sono uniti a noi per attraversare la città.

...at the main square lots of children greeted us...

...un sacco di bambini ci aspettavano nel parco della villa comunale...

The kids organised a relay run around the square. Every child got a chance to carry the torch a certain distance.

I bambini con i loro insegnanti hanno organizzato una staffetta intorno al parco. Ogni bambino ha avuto l'opportunità di portare la fiaccola per un breve tratto.

We tried to keep up with the kids, but they were too fast for us!

Abbiamo provato a tenere il passo dei bambini, ma erano troppo veloci per noi!

After the relay run, we presented the WHR to the crowd...

Dopo la staffetta abbiamo presentato la WHR alla folla...

The sport representative of Isernia greeted us and received the torch...

L'Assessore dello Sport di Isernia ci ha accolto e ha ricevuto la fiaccola...

...drawings by the children decorated the square...

...la piazza era decorata da disegni fatti dai bambini...

...the sun was strong as the kids passed the torch...
...il sole si faceva sentire mentre i bambini si passavano la fiaccola...

...tutti ma proprio tutti si son passati la fiaccola!

Together we ran a final lap around the square...

abbiamo corso insieme per un giro finale intorno al parco...

Later on we reached Bojano. Luciano Di Pardo, a well known 3,000m champion, carried the torch into the village.

Più tardi abbiamo raggiunto Bojano, Luciano Di Pardo, campione molto conosciuto nel cross e sulla distanza dei 3000 m, ci ha accompagnato portando la fiaccola in paese.

As we reached the main square, local kids took over the torch!

Appena abbiamo raggiunto la piazza principale, i bambini del posto hanno preso in consegna la fiaccola!

The mayor greeted us....

Il sindaco ci ha accolti...

...almost too small, but finally it worked out for the group picture...
...Quasi troppo piccola, ma alla fine é riuscita a entrare nella foto...

As we reached Campobasso, Cross-country champions Stefano Cialleta and Andrea Lalli met us and together we ran into the city.

Sulla via per Campobasso i campioni di cross Stefano Cialletta e Andrea Lalli ci sono venuti incontro e sono entrati con noi in città

We carried the torch together to the city hall.

Abbiamo portato la fiaccola insieme fino al Municipio.

...the mayor and members of the city council received the torch and passed it from hand to hand...

...il sindaco e i membri del consiglio comunale hanno ricevuto la fiaccola e se la sono passata di mano in mano...

The Regional Council of Molise was our final destination for the day.

Il Consiglio Regionale del Molise é stato la tappa conclusiva della nostra giornata.

The president of the council welcomed us and honored the World Harmony Run for carrying the torch through the Region of Molise.

Il presidente delle consiglio ci ha accolto ed ha onorato la World Harmony Run per aver portato la fiaccola attraverso la regione del Molise.
