Harborside Elementary was our first stop of the day with one of the students carrying in the torch.

Chula Vista Mayor Cheryl Cox greeted us at the school and offered encouraging words.

Harborside Principal, Matthew Tessier, received our certificate of appreciation.

 Pilar received the Torch-Bearer Award for outstanding citizenzhip and perfect attendence since kindergarten.

We then carried the torch to Mexico where the Tijuana Track Club welcomed us.

These young dancers were on hand to introduce us to some traditional dance.

These elegant dancers balanced glasses for their entire performance.

After the wonderful performances everyone was all smiles.
