Austria 29 September: Reutte - Innsbruck

Welcome back to Austria! The mountains of Tirol were greeting us as we reached Reutte...

Runners from the SV Reutte welcomed us...

...further on more kids joined in...

...and we reached the city hall. Deputy mayor Kohler gave us a warm welcome...

...we received a nice gift!

...and a group picture with a real traditional setup!

...the deputy mayor and the kids started the Run...

Thank you Reutte!

...and we went on to Lermoos...

Mrs. Zwölfer, mayor of Lermoos, received the torch...

...the rest of the day we spent running through Tirol's country side. A Saturday afternoon gives you plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature...

...quite an unusual obstacle...

...from the "Fernpass" you can see the "Zugspitze", Germany's highest mountain...

...a milestone of the "camino de Santiago", the pilgrimage path to Santiago de Compostela. The mark says 2330 km - we ran already on the very same path this year in March. The circle is closing...

...getting ready for the winter!

...almost in Innsbruck!

...we brought the peace torch to the opening of the handball game Tirol against Fivers Margareten...

...the two team captains passed the torch...

Good luck for the game!
