Austria 3 October: Salzburg - Bad Mitterndorf

...we said "good bye" to Salzburg...

...and reached the Waldorf school in Mayrwies...

...Penny demonstrated her Kung Fu - skills...

..the kids joined us on a quite long run around the school...

...and we reached Thalgau. The primary school lined up for "high five"...

...also the torch needs fuel...

...right before Mondsee we met a group of children from the secondary school...

St. Gilgen is a real jewel: Mozart's sister and mother spent quite some time here...

..we passed St. Wolfgang and it's famous restaurant "Weisses Rössl"...

...and we reached Strobl!

...kids from the secondary school joined in...

..most of the kids ran barefoot! The summer is not over yet...

The deputy mayor of Strobl, Otto Hodecek, received our team...

...also a big "Thank You" to the Tourist Office!

...the cristall-clear lake proved to be too cold for our girls...

...snacks for everyone...

...we passed Hallstatt, an ancient settlement with a long history...

...the glacier of the "Dachstein" was shining bright in the distance...

...and we reached Bad Mitterndorf. The deputy mayor and the priest greeted our runners!
