We started the morning in Hannover at the "Kröpcke Clock" - a big team assembled and good times were soon to come.

Wir starteten am Morgen vor der "Kröpcke Uhr", einem der vielen Wahrzeichen der Stadt Hannover!

We ran from Hannover to Springe, where the local firemen's brass band gave us a spontaneous performance.

Wir erreichten Springe, wo uns eine Feuerwehrkapelle ein spontanes Ständchen bereitete.

It was a very musical run through Springe...

Es war ein sehr musikalischer Lauf durch Springe...

The Mayor of Springe received the torch...

Der Bürgermeister von Springe nahm die Fackel entgegen....

...nd he wouldn't miss the opportunity to run with us, wearing his harmony run t-shirt...

...und er ließ sich die Gelegenheit nicht entgehen, sein Teamtrikot mit einem kurzen Lauf einzuweihen...

Next we ran to Bad Münder...

Als nächstes liefen wir nach Bad Münder....

..where were greeted by the mayor and a local running club in front of City Hall...

..wir wurden vom Bürgermeister und vom lokalen Lauftreff vor dem Rathaus begrüßt...

A city representative was dressed in the typical clothes of a salt miner; Bad Münder's history is integrally connected with its salt-mining industry.

Ein Stadtbürger empfing uns in der traditionellen Kleidung der Salzsieder: Salzkochen spielte in der Geschichte von Bad Münster eine große Rolle.

A nice jog through the city to see its shops and residences...

Ein kleiner Stadtrundlauf durch den historischen Altstadtkern....

The "Lauftreff Bad Münder" ran with us to the city of Hameln.

Der Lauftreff Bad Münder begleitete uns bis nach Hameln.

There is a legend in Hameln that the city had a problem in 1284 with too many rats in town. The people offered a reward to anyone who could get rid of the rats. A flute-player charmed the rats with his tunes and got them all to leave town by following him. Unfortunately the people of the town did not believe it was really his playing that had rid them of the rats, so they refused to pay the reward. To teach them a lesson, the flute-player then played another melody and all the children of the town followed him, never to be seen again.

Die Legende erzählt, daß Hameln im Jahr 1284 von einer Rattenplage heimgesucht wurde. Die Stadt setzte eine Belohnung aus für denjenigen, welcher der Rattenplage Einhalt gebieten konnte. Ein Flötenspieler bot sich an und vertrieb alle Ratten durch das Spiel seiner Flöte. Als ihm die Bezahlung verweigert wurde, spielte er die Flöte nochmals und disesmal folgten ihm alle Kinder der Stadt und verschwanden auf Nimmerwiedersehen....

Viele wunderschöne Schlösser säumten unsere Laufroute....

Our next meeting took place at the Yoga Vidya Center in Bad Meinberg.

Sukadev from the Yoga Vidya Center received the torch and everyone present offered a wish or a prayer for peace and harmony.

The Yoga Vidya Center hosted us and provided us with a very peaceful sleeping place and some delicious food. Thank you very much!

Unser nächstes Treffen fand im Yoga Vidya Center in Bad Meinberg statt.

Sukadev vom Yoga Vidya Center nahm die Fackel entgegen und alle anwesenden Personen reichten sie mit einem Wunsch für Frieden und Harmony weiter...

We felt a real heart's connection with everyone we met at the Yoga Vidya Center; they really live the message of peace and harmony.

Wir fühlten uns im Yogazentrum wie Zuhause: hier wird wirklich Frieden und Harmonie gelebt.....

After a long day we climbed up the "Extern" stones near Horn-Bad Meinberg for a little rest and relaxation.

Nach einem langen Tag erklommen wir zur Entspannung die Externsteine bei Horn-Bad Meinberg.

The stones stand tall above the countryside. Throughout history many cultures have performed various rituals in this hallowed place...

Die Steine erheben sich hoch über die Landschaft. Über die Jahrhunderte waren die Steine als alte Kulturstätte Schauplatz vieler Naturrituale und Treffen...

..a perfect place for a nap...
..ein perfekter Platz für ein Nickerchen...

A great day came to an end. Thanks to everybody!
