Hungary 2 July: Budapest - Rackeve

We started the day in chidlren's camp in Budapest in Laborc utca. Even before 10 am we needed to cool down in the pool. First the kids, than our whole team joined.

...let's learn the song...

Let me guess where are you from. China?

Each one of us can feel harmony in the heart.

The kids lined up for the tattoos.

An enthusiastic run around the pool...

Most of the kids ran barefoot or in slippers...

We launched the torch in the pool. Everyone had the chance to hold the torch and make a wish for harmony.

We had a great time with the children of the camp....

For most of the kids the water was deeper than their height. Still they made their way to the middle of the pool to hold on the torch.

Ildiko and Zsoka, our Miskolc runners togther with the torch...

Approaching Szigetszentmiklos in an easy going team-running on the hot asphalt. For most of the day we had over 30 degrees!

We got a very warm welcome on Szigetszentmiklos from the mayor and a very nice performance by the children.

...and highly welcomed refreshments...

Dipavajan gave an interview for the local TV station.

Enthusiastic local runners joined our team.

The local runners of Szigethalom joined us and came with us almost until the end of the day.

An enthusiastic reception in Szigethalom...

The kids of the summer camp welcomed us with home made flags.

Animated songs and dancing. "The great team is back again."

The teachers really did their best to make it a memorable meeting.

Our enthusiastic organiser Kenesseine Ani.

Kids of Szigethalom leading the run.

We got an amazing reception in Tokol with high standard performances.

The mayor of Tokol holding the torch. He appreciated our efforts a lot.

Big and small, all joined us in Tokol.

Our runner friend accompanied us from Budapest all the way to Tokol all smiles all the way.

At the end of the day we reached Rackeve, the city of towers and waters.

The mayor welcoming us on the "Korzo". Special thanks to our amazing hosts Zsolt Szale and Jozsef Szadai.
