Moldova 28 July: Chisinau - Rezina
We started the day by meeting Ion Cebanu, the Minister of Youth and Sport.
Am început ziua întâlnindu-l pe Ministrul Tineretului şi Sportului, dl Ion Cebanu.
Many of our international team members were interviewed by local news stations.
Mulţi dintre membrii echipei internaţionale au fost intervievaţi.

...and then ran with us; and he was very fast.
...apoi a alergat cu noi... şi era foarte rapid.
At our next meeting in Peresecina we were greeted in traditional fashion with bread and refreshments.
La următoarea întâlnire în Peresecina am fost întâmpinaţi în felul tradiţional cu pâine şi băuturi.
Barefoot running is one of the latest trends.
Alergatul desculţ este una dintre ultimele tendinţe.
We were surprised with a very nice performance when we arrived in Orhei...
Un număr de dans foarte frumos a fost surpriza care ne aştepta la Orhei...
...and received enough bread to last a week.
...am primit pâine cât să ne ajungă pe o săptămână.
The representatives of the city both held the torch.
Reprezentanţii oraşului au ridicat împreună torţa.

We enjoyed a spectacular meal in Orhei.

The Moldovans had such kind words to offer us, always spoken from the heart.

The two football teams were incredibly fast, we're glad we didn't have to play against them.
Membrii celor două echipe de fotbal au fost incredibil de iuţi, bine că n-a trebuit să jucăm împotriva lor.
In Podgoreni, the mayor held the torch.
La Podgoreni i-am oferit torţa primarului.

We filled every bottle we could find with pure and fresh water from the local well...

This was a very fun and spontaneous meeting; we did it on the run.
O întâlnire foarte veselă şi spontană - tot în timpul alergării.
The community of Tahnauti offered many special wishes for peace and harmony.
Localitatea Ţahnăuţi a pus multe dorinţe deosebite pentru pace şi armonie.
The representatives of the region of Rezina were excited to pass the torch.
Reprezentanţii raionului Rezina au fost încântaţi să transmită torţa.

Another great performance. This young girl left the crowd amazed.
Încă un număr extraordinar. Această fetiţă a lăsat mulţimea cu gura căscată.
Meanwhile the band played some festive music...

...and people of all ages held the torch...
...şi oameni de toate vârstele au ţinut torţa...
