New Zealand 16 October: Wanaka - Queenstown

Another beautiful day dawns as we prepare to head to Queenstown.

Today is Saturday and schools are closed, so it is mainly running for the Harmony Run team.

Our route takes us through Kawarau Gorge, beautifully scenic, but also a tight and windy road, so the runners have to be very careful, making sure they always have a clear view of the road ahead.

Don't forget to stretch!

Some new runners arrived today from Christchurch.

The whole team ran together into Queenstown.

We took the torch to a waterfront craft market, where we introduced the Run and invited people to take a moment to hold the torch and offer their wishes for peace and world harmony.

Queenstown is full of travellers from all over the world.

The generous manager (pictured above) at Tandoori Palace offered us a generous price on a superb Indian banquet.
