This morning we said farewell to Invercargill.

Thank you very much to the generous people at Invercargill Top 10 Holiday Park for providing accommodation and kitchen facilities for th team.

We have a long distance to cover today through the beautiful Caitlins, home to rolling countryside, native forest and wild beaches.

The wind is overpowering in some places!

This is the first time we have run through native forest.

Today we experience the wilder side of New Zealand. The wind and the cold are persistent, but the magnificent scenery makes up for it.

Thank you very much to Mick at Balclutha Motor camp for providing a spacious room with good facilities.
