USA 26 May: Hereford, TX - Taiban, NM

This morning the whole team left really early from the hotel so that we could pay a visit to Palo Duro canyon.

It's known as the "grand canyon of texas".

As soon as we reached the canyon we enjoyed the wonderful air and the amazing view over the canyon.

So our day started out really exciting. That also meant that we would start running later than usual and all be running in the heat of the day, but it was worth it.

When I ran through Herefortd so many people were welcoming me and gave me some support with water and cheering.

I also saw our radio interviewer from yesterday on the street, That was really funny because we heard the interview when we were driving down the canyon in the car. So it was a familar feeling to see each other again.

After that we kept running in the sun and so we also crossed the border to New Mexico.

We met some Finnish bikers that were riding from Chicago to L.A.

They held the torch and shared our aspiration and inspiration for world peace and harmony. They really enjoyed meeting the international team.

Artist Anne Weiler-Brown happened to stop by and see what we were up to. She was extremely enthusiastic and encouraging.

Our evening we spent nice and relaxedin a beautiful camping place called Summer Lake State Park...so the perfect end for really exiting adventure day.
