USA 28 May: Clines Corners, NM - Espanola, NM

Here's a member of the Silver Sneakers senior group  singing our World Harmony Run song - their enthusiasm was infectious!

Encouragement from drivers passing by is always much appreciated.

As you can see we have a long way to run.

Snow capped peaks beckoned us.

Jeromy shared the road with just a few cars.

The last few miles into Santa Fe the team had a rare chance to run together.

Santa Fe Mayor David Coss joined the team for the last few yards into town.

The Silver Sneakers (a senior walking group) happened to be visiting Santa Fe from Albuquerque and gave us a great reception.

The Silver Sneakers group meets the team.

Mayor David Coss reads a proclamation to the team.

New Mexico Coordinator, Sunamita Lim, gets ready to present Mayor David Coss with the Torch-Bearer Award for his remarkable service to the City of Santa Fe.

Jeromy makes sure he gets the best photos.

Santa Fe's Railyard Water Tower in the historic railyard was the perfect place for us to meet the Mayor.

Mayor Coss cuts the cake in honor of Santa Fe's 400th anniversary.

Surya from Russia eats the cake in honor of Santa Fe's 400th Anniversary.

Mayor Coss lights the torch to send us off.

Abhejali from Czech Republic strides out as part of her first miles on the US run.

The women's team still had some miles to run.

An enthusiastic passerby.

It is getting crowded in the RV.

The beautiful Santa Fe Suites hosted us for the second year in a row. Thank you!!

Dinner at our Santa Fe Coordinators house - delicious.
