The World Harmony Run arrived in Serbia! After a great time in Hungary, we were looking forward to meeting the people of Serbia, as we have many good memories from previous runs....

Svetska trka harmonije stigla je u Srbiju! Nakon divnog vremena provedenog u Mađarskoj radujemo se susretima sa ljudima iz Srbije s obzirom da negujemo mnoga lepa sećanja sa prethodnih poseta Trke ovoj zemlji...

As soon as we crossed the border, a big Serbian team welcomed us...

Čim smo prešli granicu, dočekao nas je veliki srpski tim trkača...

....and here we go! The Run took off towards Subotica....

...some kids from the local running club ran the whole 12 km with us - a real achievement for their age....

...deca iz lokalnog atletskog kluba trčala su čitavih 12 km. Veliki podvig za tako mladu decu...

Subotica is a very nice city with beautiful architecture....

..after the meeting we went to the peace monument in Subotica. In 1995 the city joined a world-wide program called the "Sri Chinmoy Peace Blossoms" project, named after the founder of the World Harmony Run. This program dedicates landmarks, cities and even nations to the cause of peace, harmony and mutual understanding for the inspiration of humanity...

..posle svečanog dočeka otišli smo do spomenika posvećenog miru u Subotici. Grad Subotica se 1995. g. priključio svetskom programu pod nazivom "Cvetovi mira Šri Činmoja" koji je tako nazvan po osnivaču Svetske trke harmonije sveta Šri Činmoju.
