We began the day in the town of Trebon.

Dnešní den je speciálně připraven pro širou veřejnost. Po celou trasu nás bude doprovázet autobus zastavujísí každých 5 km. Renesanční Třebon je začátkem naší etapy.

We gathered outside the tourist information centre in the town square.

Všichni jsme se shromáždili před informačním centrem na náměstí.

A bus came to carry guest runners for the big day.

Autobus pro spoustu nadšených běžců.

Abishar was our excellent coordinator.

Abishar byl dnes koordinátorem dne a vše šlo jak po másle.

We ran with the Mayor from the town square to the Trebon State Chateau Park.

Z dlážděného třeboňského náměstí vedly naše kroky až do zámeckého parku.

The Mayor and Assistant Mayor share a moment with the torch.

Zde radní radostně podrželi pochodeň

We planted this chestnut tree in a beautiful location in the park. As it is a royal garden, only specific trees may be planted here.

Společně jsme zasadili Strom harmonie.

The tree is a special kind of tree and it can live for a hundred years.

Ten strom ale není ledajaký strom. Jeví se sice jako malá rostlinka, ale pokud jej budeme pravidelně zalévat myšlenkami míru, bude moci připomínat tento okamžik po nekolik staletí.

The castle director was proud to accept the plaque.

Pan kastelán hrdě převzal pamětní plaketu.

He also ran with us.

A se stejným nadšením se chopil pochodně.

Trebon Chateau, dating back to 1374.

Třeboňský zámek byl postaven v roce 1374.

Jakub Krcin was the builder of the ponds that surround the town. His historic designs are known and respected throughout the Czech Republic.

Stavitel třeboňských rybníků, Jakub Krčín, byl uznán za svá díla hlavně při nedávných povodních, kdy jeho rybníky ochránily místní obyvatele před zkázou.

We ran along the water and took in the views.

Napříč třeboňskou krajinou jsme se nechali unášet lesknoucími se hladinami vod.

Lenka, a guest runner joined our team for the day.

Lenka byla jedna z těch, kteří se k nám tento den připojili, a už po chvilce byla skutečnou členkou týmu.

International runners play the country-guessing game with children.

Mezinárodní tým se představil ve svých rodných jazycích a děti hádaly odkud pocházejí.

Salil becomes a kangaroo, depicting his home of Australia. Hop. Hop. Hop.

Z běžce se tak z nenadání stal i klokan reprezentující Austrálii.

Jennifer was happy to meet a guest runner with a t-shirt representing her home town of San Diego.

Jennifer se dokonce setkala se svým "krajanem", jehož triko neslo název jejího rodného města, San Diega.

The local children runners hold the torch, excited to begin running with us.

In Borovany a family of guest runners joined the team.

V Borovanech se k nám připojila celá běžecká rodina.

Ahoy! Local men relax on a hot Sunday.

Místní muži nám z dálky mávají, vyhřívajíc se na sluníčku.

This sweet girl shared her message of harmony with her animal friends.

Plyšáčci se zaujetím poslouchají a těší se, až pošlou své přání do světa.

Another young girl and her cute pet bunny rabbit joined us.

Plyšoví, neplyšoví, všichni se k nám přidali. Králíčka nevyjímaje.

Even the grandmother made her wish for World Harmony.

Králíčci, děti i babičky, ve všech zaplálo nadšení pro harmonii.

Roman from Slovakia leads the team through nature.

Roman ze Slovenska vedl odvážně naši výpravu skrze zarostlé houštiny.

Lepší ztratit botu než halvu...

Today was especially rewarding, running in the green fields of Bohemia.

Po mnoha dnech na asfaltových cestách jsme s radostí zakusili i stezky mezi poli.

Thank you for spending an amazing day with us.

Běžecké rodině děkujeme, že se připojili a přispěli tak ke krásné atmosféře.

At lunchtime we were lucky to be offered a homemade meal by our friends from Ceske Budejovice.

Taktéž děkujeme za vynikající oběd, který pro nás s láskou připravily běžkyně z Českých Budějovic.

The girls shared lunch and laughs, and took time to relax in the grass.

Oběd, smích, květinový koberec...co víc si přát?

The Assistant to the Mayor of Borovany holds the torch while girl runners hold ice cream torches.

She ran with us through the park to the great monument. Smiling all the way.

Paní místostarostku Borovan rozesmívala pochodeň celou cestu až k Žižkově památníku.

The monument of Jan Zizka was very impressive.

Památník se v krajině hrdě tyčil...a my s ním :)

Eva offers homemade cakes to the runners. Yum!

Po domácích koláčcích se jenom zaprášilo.

Next came a 5k on a bike path through the natural hills.

Cyklistická cesta nás provázela kopečkovitým terénem.

Zapomeňte na nudný výklad historie! V podání charismatického pana kastelána jsme se všichni ocitli o několik století v minulosti...v době barokních rób a divadelních scén.

Medvědi střeží hradní příkopy.

Ze zámku se nám otevřel půvabný pohled na město.

The baroque castle theatre. We were so lucky to have a guided tour.

Barokní divadlo je opravdovým skvostem. Na světě jsou pouze 2 další podobné exempláře (Itálie, Švédsko).

The castle manager demonstrates how they created the sound effects for the performances. This machine makes the howling sound of the wind.

Vítr, hromy a blesky v podání pana kastelána - jevištní technika byla propracovaná do posledních detajlů.

The museum at the castle displayed the incredible artifacts of the aristocrats.

Duch dávných časů nás provázel na každém kroku.

The evening sky of Cesky Krumlov was especially magical.

Večerní mystika prostupovala dlážděnými uličkami a ukončila tak překrásný den.
