USA 24 October: Lake Mary, FL

Today we visited Lake Mary Montessori Academy to be a part of their first International Festival. Director Sheila Linville couldn’t be present but teachers Heather Pratt, Katie Daly and Federica Luizzi were very kind to bring their students outside to share with them our World Harmony Run presentation.

We asked students what harmony means to them and one of them told me that harmony means silence and another said love and peace. What very smart kids! Then we felt peace in our hearts for a few seconds by placing our right hand on our hearts and we told them to share that peace with their families, friends, teachers and to the world at large. This is how we can spread harmony- by being in the heart and helping mom and dad at home and by being good students. This is how we can make a difference, since harmony begins with each of us first.

Afterwards we went around the basketball court with Oli guiding our Harmony Train. We all had a great time enjoying the beautiful Florida weather!

I would like to thank Director Sheila Linville, teachers and staff for having us in this special day.
