Canada 22 July: St. John's

Beautiful sunrise over St. John's to start the day right.

Flowers in Bannerman Park.

Local running hero, Colin Fewer came in 2nd overall in the annual Tely 10, a local 10 - mile race in its 84th edition! He was the race winner for the previous 7 consecutive years. He gladly held the Harmony Torch and supports its ideals.

Prapti, WHR coordinator, ran the whole 10 miles with the 'flaming' torch.

Devaki. (WHR city coordinator from Montreal) and Brahmacharini, St. John's coordinator, congratulate Prapti who came in 4th in her category!

The WHR torch summits the famous Signal Hill, national historic site of Canada.

Spectacular view from Signal Hill.

Brother and sister sharing harmony atop Signal Hill

Locals proud to share harmony.

Visitors from Halifax and China!

Professor David Bell of Memorial University kindly acted as tour guide and 'divine' chauffeur for Brahmacharini, Prapti and Devaki. We are very grateful for his generosity and superb knowledge of the St. John's area.

Moss created the forest floor near a picturesque waterfall.

Harmony in nature abounds!

Two harmonious professors ( Brahmacharini also teaches at Memorial University )

Middle Cove Beach was our next stop to view the magnificent waves!

Oops! The waves were higher than expected!

The cliffs at Middle Cove Beach look like an elephant dipping its trunk in the Atlantic!

It was a great ending to a perfect day in beautiful St. John's!
