Iceland 22 July: Möðrudalur - Reykjahlíð

Today we met several groups of tourists who were curious about the World Harmony Run, and who were delighted to hold the Torch in the name of harmony, friendship and tolerance.

Martin with a few Icelandic travellers, who were fascinated by the Torch and were eager to join the Run.

Martin with his Austrian countrymen, sharing in the joy of holding the Torch.

Andrés with the Bengtsson family from Sweden, who ran with us for a short while in the gentle Icelandic summer weather.

Víðir with Thomas Sdamt and Janna Vejnarova from the Czech Republic, who were hitchhiking across Iceland. They were on their way to visit the beautiful, yet peculiar, lava formations at Dimmuborgir.

Davíð running with the Green Lagoon in the background.

This is the Green Lagoon, situated by Reykjahlíð village. The Green Lagoon is not unlike the Blue Lagoon, and also attracts hordes of tourists.

The girls having fun at the playground. Yes, we are all five year old in our hearts...

Distance: 73km
