USA 21 April: Ashland, VA - South Hill, VA

Another great day for running! Arpan working on 14 miles.

It's always nice to meet people when we run, but this gentlemen was special because he said that he would pray for us.

We were invited to start the kids one-mile fun run at the Race the Rail Ashland  Railroad Run.

Race Director Dave Klisz very nicely annouced our presence, informing the crowd about our journey and mission. Thanks for having us Dave. We had a great time!

The women's team really had to work to keep up with the enthusiastic start!

In the end they were only beat by one boy. But man was he fast!

Green Man traditionally starts the race.

Zach, the winner, had quite the running career ahead!

Thank you Matt for your enthusiastic recption of the torch.

Hang time

Supercar

Thank you Katie Evens from Petersburg's Progress-Index for running with the torch and having a nice interview with us. The news world is a better place because of your shinning enthusiasm.

Pastor Hardy.

Thank you Denny's for some tasty grub.

Thank you to the Quality Inn for a complimentary room!

Thank you so much to the Holiday Inn in Henderson, NC. You saved a couple of us from a massive downpour!

A final thanks to Kerr Lake Bait and Tackle for so kindly allowing us to use the internet to work on the site and plan our next day. We would have had to drive for miles otherwise.
