USA 29 May: Bluff, UT - Tsegi, AZ

Letter to the runners from Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert.

The Desert Inn and Cabins kindly hosted us for our nights stay in Bluff.

It is a beautiful hotel with the most spectacular setting, nestled amongst gigantic rock sculptures!

Some of the team got up at 4.30am and drove to the nearby Valley of the Gods to see the sunrise, what a magestic start to the day!

Daulot started his run at the crack of dawn, and completed 25 miles in honour of the 25th anniversary of The World Harmony Run!

Daulot running past the famous Twin Rocks...

He celebrated completing 25 miles with a bit of rock climbing!!

The famous Mexican Hat rock

Boijayanti at the top of Monument Valley, where we stopped to talk to some local Native American jewellery makers, some of who had taken part in the run in previous years...

Ratuja admiring the view!

Arpan running through Monument Valley

The girls team started running from the state line, Arizona!!

Priyala...

Jana...

A new team member!

After a day of the most unique and breathtaking scenery and running, we headed back to Monument Valley in Gouldings, on the state line, where we were camping for the night.

Some cute kids we met along the way...

Shobhavati, Boijayanti and Katya at Monument Valley lookout...

Apparently this was John Waynes favourite spot to sit when he was filming movies out here...

A photographers dream landscape!!

Ratuja and Boijayanti

Some very enthusiastic Japanese tourists we made friends with!

Goodbye from Ratuja at one of the Mitten Rocks
